HILLIS, Barbara R. - Of Burton, age 77, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her residence. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, where the funeral service will be held 12 noon Saturday, December 31, 2011, Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Barbara was born in Tuckerman, Arkansas on May 29, 1934, daughter of the late William and Mary (Wadley) White. On March 18, 1954, she married Robert L. Hillis. Surviving are daughters, Jill (Ron) Kender and Kim (Mark) VanDrese; grandchildren, Shawn (Wayne) Lincoln, Serena Hadley, Jackson Morely, Ashley Kender, Jeffrey Kender. Sarah (Jason) Fritz, Joshua (Christa) VanDrese, Alyssa Hillis, Angela Hillis; great-grandchildren, Melanie, Seth and Allison Lincoln, Destanie Hadley, Jasmine Hadley, Katie, Zachary and Hunter Fritz.
