I remember your smile as I sat with you time after time, listening to you talk of the things that brought you happiness. I remember your poems and your drawings of roses that you enjoyed so much.I remember hearing you sing so softly in the next room. I remember trying to teach you to swim on a hot summer day-You were fearless. I will miss your stories of when you first met me at age 5. For you, I will stop to smell the roses and cherish their beauty and think of you.
