Matt
Hello
I became friends with your mom as a fellow judge at the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair - We always looked forward to seeing each other - every year - and I have missed her in the last year or two. We always had such a good couple of days together. I always felt that you should have been a grand champion - as she was. You have so much potential - and were the light of her life. Please continue on - keep her in your heart and have a successful life.
Good luck - I...

Dear Matt,
I am very sorry for your loss. I had spoken to you on the phone on one occassion telling you about how your mother was a very caring person and how she always spoke highly of you.
Your mother was a very dedicated doctor, shall I say an exceptional doctor which I believe you already know from all the entries you have received thus far.
I called your mother and she was always there for the care of my husband, Russell. She came to my home to care for him anytime... day or...

While my mother and I had only recently took on Dr. Hobbs as our primary doctor, my wife has been with her a while. She was a truly wonderful addition to our lives. There has not been a day go by over the last 2 weeks that we have not had our hearts saddened by losing her. Besides the fact she was a gifted doctor, she had a truly wonderful heart for our well being. We always left her prescence knowing we had been cared for in every aspect as well as could be done. Our deepest and most sincere...

Dear Hobbs Family:

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Hobbs. As others have said, she was a very special doctor and person. I had only been a patient of hers for a short time, but she will definitely be missed by many, many people. She always took the time to listen and in this day and age, that is hard to find in the health care field.

God bless your family at this time of sorrow.

Matt and Robert,
My heart goes out to you both during this sad time. As you know, Barb was an adopted member of our family. She and my mother had a special bond that started a long time ago and continued all these years. I have known Barbara since she was a young girl and watched her grow into a talented doctor, devoted mother, and caring person.
When my mother had her heart attack a few years ago, Barb was there to take charge and actually saved my mother's life before the...

Dear Matt and family, I'am very much at a loss for words in the sudden passing of your mom. I have known her since she became my doctor in 2004. I never met you but feel as if I had, as your mom was very proud of you and shared her life with the rest of us. I had just been seen by her and she always spoke highly of you before, during and at the end of every appointment. She lived for you and her passion of scuba diving. She was unlike any other doctor. It was your mom that got me through a...

Dear Matt & Family,
My deepest sympathies at this trying time. As a classmate & friend of Ed's, I knew most of the family well, and Barb better in the last few years, where she was not only dedicated, but a pleasure to be with; sharing her time regardless of her busy schedule. As with her Dad and Ed, I will remember her well and fondly.

Robert,Very sad to read of your sister's death. We were classmates at St Ambrose.I have fond memories of being at your parents home,I'm sure you do too!

Dr. Hobbs will definately be missed. She was a wonderful, caring person who dedicated her life to her patients. God bless her family.
