Barbara A. Honert

I knew Barbara for several months because she was a close friend of my mother Janet Cummings. They were both living at the senior care facility in Silvis and their rooms were on the same floor and right across the hall from each other. Barbara was so kind to my mom and very helpful in spending time with her at meal times and game times. I would talk with Barbara as my mom and I walked with her to the dining room. Barbara was such a sweet soul and conversations with her at church brightened up our day. She continued to brighten our days when she moved to New Perspectives because we ran into her often when we visited our mom there. She was always happy to see us and asked about how our family was doing. One of our family's favorite memories was raking her yard in the fall with the church youth group. She is missed. God be with you and grant you peace and comfort.
