Barbara Isaacman

I just wanted to add a story about her. My older son would walk his brother to class and take off his coat, make sure his shoes were tied, and tell him to be good. Barbara sent a note home asking us to make Thomas stop doing that because Ryan would never learn responsibility otherwise. She was a very wise woman.

I was sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. She was a wonderful teacher for both of my son's back in the 80's. I remember her as a kind and caring person. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Mrs. Isaacman was my 3rd grade teacher at Marshall Elementary School in Harrisburg. She was warm and elegant and a role model for me, also destined to be tall. My own children got to meet her as the "Pocket Lady" storyteller at the Camp Hill Public Library. You will forever be fondly remembered.
