I am sorry to hear of Barbara's passing I remember her always pleasant when she was working at the Hardware Store on Elmora Avenue in Elizabeth. Jaspan Brothers. I was very good friends with her older sister Maureen "Renee" she was like another sister to me, and I was Godfather for her Daughter Linda. Dear Bob and family:

I saw the notice of Barbara's passing in Saturday's Star Ledger. Unfortunately, it was Sunday night.I am sorry to hear of her passing. She was always a pleasant person whether in your Elizabeth store or in the gym at Trinitas Hospital.

I regret that I learned too late to pay my respects at the viewing or at the funeral. I wish you strength to carry on. I trust that she is in a better place; maybe with Allen.

With great sorrow,
Ron Jacobson

Rest in eternal peace, Barbara. May God bless, embrace and comfort each and every one of you. Sympathies and love from the...

When someone you love dies, words fail us. We know when Jesus friend died he wept. We know it is normal for us to weep when we lose a loved one and especially a loving wife such as Barbara. We know losing a spouse is something special. Know that Mary and I will always keep you and your family in our prayers.
