Barbara Jones Brock Johnston

I just read Barbara's obituary. She and my father Leroy Jones were first cousins. She had told me she named her son Stanley Leroy after my dad's brother Stanley and my dad Leroy. I'm so sorry to read about her passing. My condolences go to the family.

It's hard to believe Mom has been gone a year now. She is missed more than ever. Not a day goes by that we don't think of her. Thank you, Sharon, for helping us remember her.

As the first anniversary of Barbara's passing is approaching tomorrow, I wanted to let her family know once again what a special lady she was. It was nice recalling Barbara's wonderful life by reading her obituary again one year later. I will always have loving memories of Barbara, and she has a special place in my heart.

I was saddened to read that Barbara passed away, and her family is in my thoughts and prayers. I met Barbara when I was a student at Chico State in the early '60s, and she assisted me in getting on-campus jobs. Barbara called to let me know that there was a job opening in the President's Office at Chico State after I had graduated, and she encouraged me to apply for it.
