I was fortunate to have Ms Kane as my PE teacher at Crescent Jr. High in 1972/73. I will never forget her passion and dedication to her students. I have a forever memory of her whisking me off the basketball court when I injured my ankle. She full blown picked me up and carried me to the office! She then followed up with my parents to check on me. I am so glad to read about her wonderful life and beautiful family. I am so sorry for your loss ~ may she rest in peace.

Barbara came to lunch with the Retired O.R. nurses once and that's when I met her. I wish I had known her better. I'm so sorry for your loss. This was a shock.

Barbara cared deeply, lived passionately, dreamed boldly and was an energy wherever she went. I am proud to be her daughter, grateful that she was my friend. Til we meet again Mom, I will care on with what you taught me.

Barbara was the most amazing woman I have ever known. I was privileged to share her life for 44 years. She was my rock. I will miss her more than words can say.
