Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege to work with Barbara at IBM on many projects over the years. She was extremely talented, incredibly energetic and just a pleasure to be around - her laugh was infectious! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I will miss Barbara.

I'm sorry I'm so late in getting to this guest book for the wonderful Barbara Katchmar. I worked with Barbara for years and I had the utmost respect for her. She was such a pleasure to work with. She always had a cheery disposition and made everyone feel at ease. I was devastated to hear the news of her passing and I wish her family the best in the days/months/years to come. May peace "distil upon you like the dews of heaven". God bless you and I know we'll see Barbara again and she'll...

My sincere condolences at the loss of this wonderful person. I did not have the privledge of knowing her well, but for the short time we were colleagues at IBM, I was inspired by her professionalism, generosity and kind and fun loving nature. I am happy to have known her.

Barbara & I worked together at IBM. She was a wonderful person. We had many conversations about her terrific kids and the wonderful grandchildren that she had so much fun with. She was having a great time in retirement. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

To the Katchmar family and many friends, my prayers and thoughts are with you all, especially her precious grandchildren. Mrs. Katchmar obviously had a huge impact on the children of her community. Her legacy and memory will live on in the hearts of many.

My husband and I were next door neighbors to Barbara and Bob for 4 years. We had many good times especially at their famous "July 4th" picnics where Bob had enough fireworks for the whole neighborhood. The next day the kids would be given "lawn duty" to retrieve the burnt embers.

My husband became very ill and the first night I couldn't fill out the paperwork. Barbara filled it out for me as we had a glass of wine. Every night for a month I'd come home late and go right to...

I am deeply saddened by Barbara's passing. She was a well respected IBM colleague with whom I enjoyed working. A contribution in her name will be made to the American Heart Association. May the peace that passes all understanding console you in this time of sorrow.

Barbara was a tremendous colleague, mentor and friend, always generous with her time and expertise, always available no matter how tight the deadline. I have the greatest respect for her and I am deeply saddened by her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Barbara was a wonderful person and great employee. It was a pleasure to have her on the team. Her team mates and I will remember her fondly.
