Dear Barbara, it´s been another year serving families, continuing the mission you started with Eric Putt in 2003. Thank you for your vision and dedication to help families. The work you started will continue into the future for many more years .

For Barbara's family-
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Barbara personally, her work has touched and changed me. As a fellow nurse, I hope to follow her example in my life and work - she is an inspiration and will continue to be so in the future. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kernan, Mary Ann, Eric and most especially Jessica and Jared,
I cannot begin to imagine the grief you are all suffering with Barbara's/your mom's death.
It is almost incomprehensible that someone so effervescent and full of life could be taken from the world so unnecessarily and early in life.
To this day, most of my happiest memories involve Barb, she was probably the first person I ever truly loved outside of my own family members. She was creative and talented...
