HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU

It was a honor and joy to care for Ms. Knight she always had a witty remark ready for our visits or story. My thoughts are with her family during this time.

It was always a pleasure to see Ms Knight. In my judgment, she was the prototypical "what you see is what you get" woman... very tough and strong despite her multiple debilitating infirmities. I was lucky she picked me to help care for her. She will be missed!

It was truly an honor to have met ms Knight and her family. My heart and love is with her, Carrie and the rest of the Family.

To the grandmother I got to know the best, I will miss you Nan. You had a will and tenacity I wish I could emulate. You were beautiful, graceful, and poised for as long as I knew you. I remember your love of gardens, fashion, and cooking. I could ask you about anything historical, and you always had an answer or experience to share. You were the first and only person I could watch through an entire football game with and have fun with you getting excited or mad at the teams. You showed me...

Nan was a bold, witty, honest and strong woman. I will carry always, the values Nan taught me. She taught me what it meant to be strong, not just for ones self but for family.

I remember around 1985 she was diagnosed with cancer. At that time, a diagnosis like that was very grave. Against the odds, she persevered. Despite the hurdles that came along, other health problems and the loss of Pop. Nan lived on another 30 plus years surviving to be my only remaining grandparent.
