Barbara A. Krause

Barb was one of my dearest most supportive friends when Cliff and I were on the Young Life staff in Ann Arbor. She was the class act of the community and added love and grace to the lives of many. Her faith lifted her and others to a high ground. I will miss her greatly.

Suzanne and I were so saddened to learn of Barb’s passing. She was such a special person who welcomed us and so many others into her life and shared joys. I was recruited to my first academic position by Chuck and Barb and I am forever grateful for the chance to know and love such special people and their family. She was full of life and boundless energy. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. My deepest sympathies!

Barb was kind, full of love and laughter, and a good listener. We would pass in and out of each others' lives, and resume our conversations as though no time had separated us. Our husbands were loyal colleagues, working towards common goals, and even roaming the halls of Mott's Childrens' Hospital as Santa and the Elf!

My fondest memories were our many visits to Lake Leland, hosting them in Stockholm, and sharing a few holiday dinners.
