To all the children of Otis and Barbara Lackey. I was very sorry to read about your mother's death. Your parents were some of our favorite friends I had known Otis since before WWII. While taking care of Mrs. Barbara at Springmoor was a special kind of care. Mrs. Lackey had a style for life and a way of dressing. When it was time to take her shower she knew day and the time it was suppose to be done. It kind of remember me that it was some kind of military time. I remember Mrs. Lackey very well from Broad Street Junior High to Broadview Middle School. Such a warm, kind and always smiling person. She was the champion of students always offering great advice or just a word of encouragement. May she rest in peace. The family has my deepest sympathies and condolences.
