I first met Barbara back in 1953 when I was four years old. when she moved into the house across the street. Her daughter Joan became my best friend and Barbara my second mother.
There are really no words to describe what an important addition she was to my life. I always referred to her as " "My Mrs. Lawson "even after she became Barbara Leavitt.
