Miami, Florida - Barbara Jean Litwin passed away peacefully on November 11, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of Miami, sharing stories of growing up in the "small town" Miami of the forties and fifties. She loved being a Miami native. She had a close bond with her sisters, always the leader of Mae's girls. Barbara was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Coral Gables Senior High School. Shortly after graduation, she met and married her loving husband of 67 years, George Litwin. She dedicated her life to loving, caring for and supporting her family. She was a close sister, a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother, placing Jesus and her family above all. She was Christian to the core, always witnessing for Jesus. Barbara was generous with anyone she met, contributing to many church-based organizations and those in need, locally and throughout the world. We all love and miss her very much. We take comfort in knowing that she is joyful in heaven. Barbara is survived by her husband, George Litwin; son, George Litwin, Jr. and his wife, Eliana; daughter, Wendy Shroyer and her husband, Larry; daughter, Vicki Huntwork and her husband, Theodore; grandchildren, Garrett Litwin, Broderick Huntwork and Alana Huntwork; and sisters, Shirley Taylor and Effie Lawley.
