We all were so sorry to hear about Barbara. My Mom,myself and my sisters met Barbara when she was in the hospital in Bangor. She shared a room with our Mom and we all visited with her and so enjoyed her company.Since, we have corresponded with her and our Mom looked forward to her letters and cards. She will be missed by all of our family.Sincerely Grace ,Trudy ,Linda, Lenna,and Axel.

To the Family: My full condolence is with you on Barbara's passing. She and I have been on a "nodding acquaintance" with each other for over 30 years, often chatting for a short while and parting with a warm smile and kind greeting. She was the owner of a wonderful smile, bright warm eyes and an engaging laugh which always pulled you in with her. I am happy to have been her acquaintance for all these years.

My prayers are with Barb's family. She was a dear friend and I am going to miss her when I go to Maine to visit. She was a wonderful woman and friend and always found good in everyone. I will never forget the trips I made to the cafeteria to get her a refill on her ice chips. Rest in Peace Barb. I am going to miss you
