Flori and children, so sorry to hear of Barb's passing in March. We are back in Indy area for the summer and were shocked to see the obituary. Our love and prayers to all of you. Barb was a very special lady.

Florie and Children: So sorry to read on-line about the passing of Barb. I have known Barb for 25 years since coming to Independence Middle School. I am out of town for the winter so I cannot be with you personally to express my condolences. God bless Barb and may she rest in peace!

We are so very sorry for your loss. We hope you can find some comfort knowing that you are in many people's thoughts and prayers. Barb was so funny! She will be deeply missed in our community. God bless you.

Dr. Bizga, we were so sorry to hear of your heartbreak. We've kept your family close in our thoughts. Our deepest condolences.

One of a kind and kind at the same time. Your sense of humor is making me smile right now. Thank you for the memories. God should have made more like you.

I remember first meeting Barb when she worked in the old police dept. The police radio was the size of an alarm clock. The wooden floors creaked, and its was hot it the summer. (this was the building that would become historic hall), later, she became clerk of courts, then city council. During all that time, we raised kids in the Independence schools., so we were in each other's lives a lot.
