Obituary for Barbara Jean Manning

Barbara Jean Manning, age 75 of Malvern, passed away at The Truman House on Monday, August 27, 2018. Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 26, 1942 to the late Arthur and Lolly (Tworagowski) Schultz.

Barbara worked as a travel agent for 20 years. She enjoyed quilting and working with stained glass. She belonged to a Quilting Club.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Harry Manning of Malvern; daughter Jennifer (Richard) Dworznik of Malvern; two grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew Dworznik of Malvern; and two sisters, Sue Schultz of Brecksville and Judie Schultz of Sagamore Hills.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 4 to 6 at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, 434 West Main Street, Malvern. Burial will follow at a later date in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland. Memorial contributions can be made to 'Save a Mom Pregnant Dog Rescue', 1271 Downing Street SW, East Sparta OH 44626.

Uncle Bob, Jennifer, and all family, we are so sorry for your loss. I remember the nice Thanksgiving dinners we all shared, the birthday parties, and the family reunions down in Magnolia. Our deepest sympathy to the Barbara Manning family. Barbara was a great volunteer and member for many years of the Carroll County Animal Protection League in Carrollton, Ohio. She was also a CCAPL Director for four years. Barbara gave of her many talents to our organization and helped with numerous fundraisers. Her compassion and love of animals was outstanding! She will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace, Barbara.
