Dear Steve, Krista, Dan, and Andy,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom - I didn't find out until today. She was always so kind and made everyone feel at home. I loved spending time at the house with the family and think of you often. Much love ...

As a close friend of Krista's (since 4th grade!!), I remember Mrs. May as having a kind and generous soul. She had a directness about her that always captured your attention and a dry, clever sense of humor to match. I always loved coming over to the house when I was in high school. Mrs. May always made me feel welcome in her home. It goes without saying that her passing deeply saddens me. My heart goes out to Krista, Dan, Steve, and Andy and all who were lucky enough to know such a wonderful woman. Peace and love to you all.

A lovely lady! I was fortunate to have known Barbara through the Old Saybrook Woman's Club and the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce. A dedicated volunteer, always a team player with a beautiful smile. May fond memories and the love of God help you all through the difficult days ahead. May she rest in peace. Bless you all.

To the Mays: Geoffrey and I were so glad we got to know Barbara and your family many years ago through our relationship with the Lancaster Mays. We always remember her love of life and great sense of humour! We'll be thinking
of you all in the coming days of loss.
Sincerely, Stephen and Geoffrey Robards (Victoria, BC, Canada)

Farewell and well done to a long time neighbor and friend. The family you leave behind is a fitting testimony to your love and widsom.
