Not sure what to say?

I first met Mrs. Meadows in about 1964 during a time of personal upheaval and distress. She provided great warmth and comfort during this difficult time and was a model of professionalism. When our paths crossed over the years I was so thankful for our acquaintance. Her kindness was never forgotten. My sincere sympathy to her family. She is sorely missed.

Barbara Meadows, I will miss your contagious smiles, warm personality, caring, thoughtfulness and so generous to Our Own Thing Chorale.

It was a pleasure to work with Barbara. We would often joke that the best place to work with parents and families was in the aisles of the nearest Kroger. Barbara believed in meeting people where they were and providing what they needed without question or judgement. The community and our sorority will all miss Barbara.

Barbara and I were social workers in the same special education group in Ann Arbor schools. She had a good senseof humor and was very dedicated to helping the students with whom she worked, often going "the extra mile". A good social worker and a good person.
My condolences to her family

A beautiful woman and legacy to the Ann Arbor community. Most recently she and I were fellow choir members of the "Willis Patterson Your Own Thing Chorale". She will be missed, but her spirit is everlasting.

I worked with Barb at Slauson, she was a fun, energetic colleague, filled with enthusiasm for her work with children and her many activities.

Both Bill and I worked with Barbara in the Ann Arbor Public Schools.
Barbara was a dedicated social worker , who served the families and students with respect and the greatest of care.

Bill recalls how good she was as a mentor to youth in the community .

In retirement, we would catch up ,while shopping at T.J. Max. We will miss her beautiful smile and remember her giving spirit.

We pray her family, friends, church and the community will find peace and...

Barbara Jean truly believed in supporting the Arts and providing opportunities for young people to experience first hand the joy of music. Her generous gifts to The Beverly Thomas Fine Arts Institute at Camp Baber in XCassopolis, MI allowed talented youth to have a memorable, challenging experience in the Arts each summer.
Rest in God's eternal care.
Love,
Beverly Thomas
