Not sure what to say?

I was teribly sorry to read about the passing of Dr. Mims. She was my instructor at Kent State University and I feel that she made a large impact on the type of nurse I have become. She was a very caring individual, and I am very happy and pleased that I had the honor and the privelege to have her as my instructor.

to the family,
barb was a great person she and i had good conversation together, she had told me she wanted me to teach
her to draw blood.when i saw her at
cfgh, she would always say "i'll be down so you can teach me to draw
blood.she was such a busy person.
although she never made it down,i
will always remember her smile.God
Bless you family, and remember God has truly restored her soul.

I had the pleasure of having an office close to Barbara. I would often stop by and and chat with her. She was always welcoming, kind, and helpful. She valued friendship and always had a beautiful smile on her face. I already miss our conversations and her presence. I know God is holding Barbara in the palm of his hand.

Barb was my supervisor as well as my friend. She went beyond her duties and visited me when I was very ill 9 months last year. She would tell me to close my eyes and sing the Lords prayer to me in a sweet soft voice. It would bring tears to my eyes. Sometimes I couldn't open my eyes but she was there. Barb I love you and will never for get you forever. Love Yvonne

My deepest sympathy to the Mims family. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Barbara well, I recognized her as a role model in the nursing profession. Through her tireless leadership in the Ohio Nurses Association and at Kent State University College of Nursing, she was able to influence and inspire many current and future nurses. I will always appreciate her dedication to the art and science of nursing. She will be missed.

I worked with Barb at CFGH and will miss her greatly. My sympathy to her family. Although she was never my instructor I am a graduate of KSU and know she will be a great loss.

I am a former student of Dr. Mimms at KSU who is shocked and sad at the news of her passing. She was a wonderful instruction as well as a kind and caring person. She will always remain in my heart and her family will be in my prayers.

We are very stunned by Barbara's passing. She and Ron were our former neighbors for twenty years. A lovely, caring person, Barbara will always be remembered in our hearts.........I thought I had all the time in the world to come up to visit with her for the weekend...how much we take for granted.....

I was sorry to hear about her passing. From what I hear she was such a lovely person, and very good as an instructor. I am a Kent State Student, and I was hoping to have had Dr. Mims as a professor
