Barb, you will be missed by many. I will never forget your smile and the way you made others laugh. You were a very giving individual who has beautiful children to carry on the Hanley spirit. Like my sister Roberta, I too appreciated the ear piercing. You were a terrific cousin! Your family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear John,
My heart goes out for you and your family. I don't know you personally, but I feel the friendship from the few contacts we've had.
I've spoken to Barb only once, the day she came out from the hospital. I was surprised she sounded so strong. She must have been a beautiful person.
Regards to you and your family.

Barb was truly one of the most exceptional people I have ever met. Even though I only knew her for 2 years, I feel that my life was better because of knowing her. She truly was an inspiration to me as she never had a bad day or a frown on her face. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for anyone that needed it. She was the epitome of the word "Friend". I truly feel blessed to have known her. I will always remember her kindness, her love of family, sense of humor, and especially...

Barbara was a beautiful woman and a wonderful cousin. When I think of her, the first thing that comes to mind is her smile. It symbolized her personality - bright and beautiful. I will always have fond memories of her and the kindnesses she showed her younger cousin. She visited SC when we were young; she pierced my ears when she finished nursing school and she was always there to listen with a caring ear.
Her mother, her brothers and sisters, John, Johnny and Julia are in my...
