We were roommates our freshman year at Lipscomb, and no matter how long between visits over the years We picked right up as if never apart. The incomparable infectious laugh and fun loving nature combined with real mental toughness that carried her through All her days and challenges. When last we talked she had not been diagnosed; I am so shocked and sad Thinking of the plans we thought we still had time to enjoy together. Precious memories-so dear to my heart.

As a friend of Frankie Thornton, I heard many wonderful stories about Barbara over the years. We know she will be dearly missed. May she Rest In Peace and love.
