Not sure what to say?

Who knew in 1978 when the Murtons moved to St. Louis that her daughter Shelly would become my best friend? All through high school and college I was blessed to have another family. Bobbie (Mrs. Murton as I called her then) always welcomed me with open arms. Those years were filled with lots of laughter and tears, joys and sorrows and a fair amount of confusion - which Shelly? which Sherry? Bobbie was a unique person -she felt everything with her whole heart. She was at the same time whimsical...

Mom,
I thought this would be a lot easier, knowing that I had let you go to a better place.....You were the one person that I could always count on, and that knew everything would always be okay. I miss you a lot.
Love, Sherry

Grandma, I used to love calling you and hearing your voice on the answering machine saying you were in paradise by the pool. Well Grams you really are in paradise now, I love you.

To David and Bobbie's Family my condolences and prayers are with you. Bea O'Neill Albuquerque, NM

I will miss your wise advise. Your wisdom, you sense of humor. You always knew the right thing to say/or just when to listin. You never judged, you'd just stand by and offer support or pick up the pieces. For all the times I didn't say it "Thanks Bobbie, I love you!" I will miss you greatly. Though all the years and miles apart nothing ever changed.

I'm sory to say I never met the lady, but if her daughter Sherry is anything like her, she must have been a wonderful lady. I'm sure she will be missed.

Bobbie's home was always open to friends, family, & sometimes strangers. Of course who's stranger than family.
We're glad to have been able to share a part of her life.

Bobbie was like one of my daughter's to me. I was(hopefully still am) always welcome to visit or hang around, play cards or bring in more relatives to hang. Your loving Aunty Edythe. P.S. David is always a gracious host.

It was an honour and a privilege to be Bobbie's friends. We will miss her kind and gentle nature and she will never be forgotten. Our heartfelt condolences to David and the Family.
