Barbara Parsons, Lampe, MO, daughter of Harris and Florene (Campbell) Crow, was born on August 8, 1938 in Jasper, AR and departed this life on July 06, 2018, at the age of 79.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of the area. She worked on the farm in Hurley, MO, raising an award winning goat herd and wrote an article, Echo from Mockingbird Hill, for the Crane Chronicle for many years. Barbara also worked at Oxford Health Care for thirty years and in her spare time she loved to knit, loved cake decorating and was known for taking pictures of everything.
Barbara was preceded in death by a husband, Eugene LeDuc Parsons; son, Terry Gene Parsons; parents, Harris and Florene Crow and a brother, Harris Crowe, Jr.
Survivors include: one brother, Jerry Crowe and his wife, Nyoka of Branson, MO; two sisters, Vadean Bouler of Whittier, NC and Christine Powell of Springfield, MO; one daughter in law, Marilyn Parsons of Lampe, MO; many nieces and nephews; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren of the heart and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 in Hilltop Church, Crane, MO with Reverend Wayne Blades officiating. Burial will be in Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
