Sympathy to the family. A loss to society. Barb was the friendliest, fairest, administrator I ever worked with in Cleveland Public schools.

Mrs. Patterson was an inspiring leader, an advocate for school libraries and an effective administrator. I had the opportunity to interact with Mrs. Patterson (Barbara) in all of those capacities and I am the better for it. She was always encouraging you to be your best self, congratulating on your accomplishments and inspiring you to go beyond what you may have perceived your limits.
