Not sure what to say?

Barb was my best friend in "the Gorge" and I will miss her presence for the remainder of my life. She was a feisty, fun, beautiful, kind and elegant woman. I am grateful to have shared time with Barb and Jim at their home in Daphne, Alabama. My heart goes out to Jim, to whom Barb was devoted and to her son Jeffrey and his family whom she loved beyond measure. My husband Rick and I will always treasure our friendship with Barb and Jim. It will be some time before the ache of missing her is...

Single Memorial Tree

My wife Cathy and I were extremely privileged to have known Barb for the past twenty years. From a chance meeting at breakfast in the Baja grew a friendship that at first included summers in Hood River but quickly became being in touch year round. Ed Overton recently sent a note about Barbara´s passing. Susan and I are sorry to hear that news as we then remembered all the good times we enjoyed with the two of you, the Whites, Ed, Charles, and all the others while at Alabama. As we read her obituary, it certainly seemed that the two of you enjoyed many good years together and with your family. We will be thinking of you and your family as you continue on in your journeys. Sounds like a life well lived.

Every time we get over to our condo at the old Inn location, we talk about going to the FYC for supper and getting to see you and Barbara again, but something always seems to come up, we haven´t been there since the pandemic. Now, all we have are the memories of wonderful fun times with old friends. I guess that´s the realities of...
