Barbara and I met at the Publick House in Sturbridge for an interview on a cold and snowy day too many winters ago. We talked for a couple of hours over cocktails by the fireplace, her warm, smoky laugh a much more frequent visitor than our waitress. It was classic Barbara, a kaleidoscopic conversation, fast moving, and wide ranging. We learned more about each other in that short time frame than any ordinary interview. So sorry to hear of Barb's passing yesterday. She was a truly wonderful individual. Such a great friend during those weird and wonderful teenage years. Wise beyond her years and as much fun to party with as any of the guys. Always one of my favorites to see at our reunions. Bless you my sweet friend.

My deepest condolences on Barbara's passing. We worked together at Boston Engineering. We were colleagues and friends. I will miss her greatly.

I always enjoyed Barb's visits....she was such an uplifting person. We will miss her dearly. Rest in peace, Barb.

Barbara was a vibrant member of our Board of Directors at UCP of MetroBoston. She will be sorely missed.

I lived next door to the Preisz family in Newport. Wendy Ann and I were inseparable as little girls. Barbara was a year older than my younger sister and I remember them playing together. I am so sorry for the loss of Barbara followed so closely by the death of their dad, Milt. My heart goes out to the entire family.
