Not sure what to say?

Barb was a beautiful person inside and out. What a special, special lady! I loved her sense of humor, the way she cared and the love that shown in her eyes. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Mike,
I am very sorry to hear of Barb's passing. Know that you and your family are kept in thought and prayer at this difficult time!

I am sorry for your loss-she was such a kind and loving teacher that cared for each and every child that was blessed to have her as a teacher-she will be missed.

Mike, Scott and girls: I was so sorry to hear of Barb's death. She was an admired colleague and valued friend. I don't know how I missed it in the paper, but regret that I did not get to offer my sincere sympathy in person at the visitation. Despite the grief and sadness, I am sure there were great stories to be told, knowing Barb's zest for life and sense of humor. Please accept my condolences. Vicki Lesser

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Purdon's passing. She was a lovely teacher, person and friend. It seems like yesteday that she was my 1st grade teacher, although it was in 1981. I hope you are comforted by the wonderful memories we all have of her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. JWES won't be the same without our beloved Mrs. Purdon. We are so blessed that our oldest son Jarett had the oppourtunity to have Mrs. Purdon teach him last year, he, nor us will ever forget her. May God carry you all in your time of sorrow. Our deepest sympathy Daniel, Joline "Clare," Jarett, Jacenda, Joseph, & Josalene Schnacker

Mike, Katie, Erin & Scott:

I am saddened at the passing of Mrs. Purdon. I have many memories of her over the years - we were all 4-Hers, members of St Aloysius and Katie a year older than I, Erin a year younger (same age as my sister, Carrie). It is truly a loss and know that she has touched so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
