Mike, Scott and girls: I was so sorry to hear of Barb's death. She was an admired colleague and valued friend. I don't know how I missed it in the paper, but regret that I did not get to offer my sincere sympathy in person at the visitation. I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Purdon's passing. She was a lovely teacher, person and friend. It seems like yesteday that she was my 1st grade teacher, although it was in 1981. I hope you are comforted by the wonderful memories we all have of her.
