Barbara Mae Reed

Barbara introduced me to the Kalamazoo Art Institute where I became involved in several different volunteering venues. I also went to the same church as Barbara. Her laugh was her weapon as one couldn't help and laugh as well! I will miss her humor and her generosity.

Dear Barbara! She was one of the most capable and helpful volunteers at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts when I was the institution's Volunteer Coordinator, and she was also completely delightful and--it must be said--adorable. I hadn't seen her in several years now, but I thought of her often during that time and will be thinking of her--and you, her family--on the day of her service, which I regret very much that I won't be able to attend. I met Barbara during the time I worked at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art where she was a volunteer. I always enjoyed talking with her. She was so kind, sweet, funny and positive. She´ll be missed. What a lovely person she was. I´m glad to have known her.
