Not sure what to say?

I think of Barbara often, and no other teacher has had such a profound influence on me. During my first week at Simon's Rock, I met a boy who was taking two of her modules and saw his books for the class--which were provocative and fascinating, like her--and I immediately upended my schedule so I could switch into them. She was entrancing, self-possessed, and beautiful, and I'm sure I equally loved her and wanted to be her. I took four of her classes in the year and a half I was...

So sorry to hear this. Barbara was one of my favorite professors at Simon's Rock and she had a huge influence on me. She encouraged me to think outside the box and gave me a unique perspective for looking at the world. I use the skills that Barbara taught me in my life today when I go to art gallery and exhibition openings. I also have used the skills and things she taught me in my work and everyday life.

Professor Resnik always pushed me to be a better student, even when I didn´t get things completely right, which was most of the time, her constructive criticisms were always appreciated. A blessing to have had her classes at Simon´s Rock, as part of my learning experience-both academically and personally.

I loved Barbara and her classes at Simon's Rock. I still talk about some of her coursework. She was my introduction to the law. Now I am finishing up law school. She touched so many lives.

I'm sorry for your loss. Barbara was a very special person. I was also one of her students at Simon's Rock. I will never forget how caring and generous she was with her time. She managed to be both brilliant and modest and challenged us all to be better students and better people through her personal example. She will live on through all the lives she touched along the way.

Barbara had a tremendous influence on me when I was at Simon's Rock. I took 3 classes with her, she was on my thesis committee, and encouraged my path to law school. I found her teaching electrifying, at once incisive and enthusiastic. I am saddened to hear of her passing and delighted to learn more about the other parts of her life. May her memory be a blessing.

Barbara was a dear friend of my partner Nancy Yanoshak. I enjoyed the dinners and parties at our home and at her cottage during which I got to know Barbara as a lively, intelligent, and caring woman. I´m so sorry to hear of her death and send sincere condolences to all of the family she loved so much.

Deepest condolences to Barbara's family. She was a favorite colleague, a perfect fit for Simon's Rock with her breadth of interest and passion for social justice and for beauty in the arts. You all know how warm, generous, and great-hearted she was.
