Of Reading, formerly of Everett, died August 23rd 2008 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Richard S. Rhodes, Sr. Loving mother of Steven A. Rhodes of Reading and his former wife Dorothy (Singleton) Jeffrey of North Andover, Richard S. Rhodes, Jr. of Burlington and his long time companion Sandra McMillen of Framingham, Charlene Gildea and her husband Patrick of Reading. Barbara is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Donna Murray. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th from 4-8pm at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home. 25 Sanborn St. (Corner of Woburn St.) READING, MA. Burial is private.
