Not sure what to say?

Sad to hear of Barbara's passing. I had the opportunity to work for Barbara for several years and had much respect for her. She was intelligent, fun and respectful.

I knew and worked with both Pete and Barbara in the 80s at LDEQ Water Pollution Control Division. They were a lovely couple who shared their lives and their work. My condolences to their sons and families.

I am so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. She was a wonderful friend and always had a big smile and a kind word for everyone she met. We had a standing dinner reservation with other DEQ ladies every month for years. We would take a table for an entire evening of chatting, laughing, and generally cutting up. Barbara would supply most of the laughs, of course! Not only was she funny, but she had an amazing mind too. She understood scientific principles and processes like few others I have...

Miss Barbara was always very kind to me in the short time I knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with Miss Barbara's family and friends.

Barbara was not only a valued customer of our jewelry store, but a very special friend. All of us at Barker's loved her as a special part of our lives. We miss her joy of life and great smile!

Barbara's infectious laugh will always be remembered. She was a trailblazer for women in the environmental field back in the early 90s and well respected for her professional expertise. To her family, may fond memories of her and God's love comfort you during your grief journey. With Condolances and Prayers,

Daniel, Zack, and Mrs. Fredieu, I am saddened to learn of Barbara's passing, and I offer my sincere sympathy to you. I worked closely with Barbara for many years in the Water Pollution Control Division (later the Water Quality Management Division). We were not just co-workers; we were friends. Barbara made work fun for many of us, and she was very supportive whenever we faced challenges. I miss her dearly and will always cherish the time we shared. God bless you!

Barbara was such a rare good friend. I was so fortunate to work under her. She made going to work a pleasure under many stressful situations. She is now at peace and I pray blessings on her family.. Marian Aguillard
