Preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Don Nemec.
Survived by loving husband, Robert; children, Scott, Sonia (Mike) Spanheimer, Staci (Tim) Geis, Steve; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Marcia (Ted) Matthies, John (Phyllis) Krebs, and Fred (Peggy) Krebs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m., with VIGIL SERVICE at 5 p.m., at the Mortuary. FUNERAL MASS Monday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Columbkille, Papillion. PRIVATE FAMILY INURNMENT. Memorials suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Columbkille Catholic Church.

When I think of growing up, the five of you and your mother are front-and-center in my memories. And they are great memories! . I see that your mother needed memory care; that is a terrible disease and it can leave some pretty bad emotional damage in its wake. I hope you are soon only left with memories that bring joy and laughter to you.
While my husband and I live in Kansas City, several of us from Dublin Drive are connected through Face Book. I would welcome hearing from you.
