Not sure what to say?

Dear Stuart,
I was so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. It has been hard for me to find the words to write this. She was such a special friend to me. I remember: our wonderful laughing times - stuck in the "kermiss"(the crack between our two beds) in our dorm room at Northwestern; our deep talks about the future; her ability to bring people together. It is so wonderful that she has affected so many people's lives through her work. She is a true inspiration and will be forever in...

Stuart, I have been thinking of Barbara for so many years and have struggled to connect with her.. not knowing where she lived or how to find her. Now, I have recently returned to Denver after 30+ years in New York, and woke up today remembering that it was her birthday. I googled and found the recent obit. I am so very sad to learn of her passing, and that I wasn't able to connect. She, and your mother!, were key people in my high school and college life. I mourn the passing of a dear...

Dear Stuart & Mark

I'm so sad about our loss. I've been in the Family Division w/ Barbara for 9 years next month.

I learned from Barbara about breaking rules responsibly. I've done things my way since I was a kid & always made it someone else's problem. I'm a much more effective partner & colleague, being someone who can break rules responsibly. Since I break a lot of rules, I get to think about Barbara frequently.

Best regards

Dear Stuart,
We are so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. Our thoughts are with you always, but especially now.
Stay well.

Dear Stuart and Mark,
I know how much love you shared with Barbara. She was truly unique. Her intellect, sense of humor and her compassion for humanity will be great missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Mark and Peymaneh,
We were so sorry to read of your sister's untimely passing. Our sympathies to you and your family.
Let's get together sometime soon, for life is so short.

Dear Stuart and Mark,

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. As you know, I had no closer friend in the world in college than Barbara. Unfortunately, we lost touch with each other over the years. I will remember many wonderful times together – our visit to your home in Denver during a spring break ski trip, Seder dinners with your parents, vacationing together in Carmel, and many more. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies.

Dear Stuart,
We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your dear sister, Barbara. May you have fond memories of her and may she rest in peace.
Hugs,
Helen and Jon Simon
