Barbara passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. Barbara was a resident of Quincy, Massachusetts at the time of passing. She was raised in Quincy and was a graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1942. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Wednesday, March 20th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph's Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 o'clock. Interment, with military honors, at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy. For those who wish, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Barbara. My mother and I met her and Jim at Webster's and so enjoyed our weekend gatherings. After my mom's passing I would later enjoy going to dinner at her home or meeting at a restaurant. Loved to hear her stories. My thoughts and prayers to her family. May she rest in peace.
