Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for Stephen and Barbara's family as I know how close Barbara was to her family. It was a shock for me to hear today that Barbara had passed away. I have known Barbara for many years as we worked together for lots of years at Holy Cross in Labor and Delivery and she was alot of fun and terrific friend. Because of her full time hours and mine we have not seen much of each other the last two years. I do remember coming out to Draper to see Stephen for a birthday I think and we...

We are so sorry to hear of Barb's battle with cancer. May God bless you during this difficult time. Although our loved ones are painfully taken from us, I am thankful that nothing can erase the memories we treasure. May you hold tight to those precious gifts. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love,

We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Barbara, especially at such a young age. Though we haven't been in touch for many years, there are many fond memories of us growing up together as next-door cousins. We share your sorrow and want you to know you all are always in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Carol & Jerry

Barb was my Labor & Delivery nurse at Holy Cross Hospital in 1988 when I had my son, Taylor. She was very kind and caring. I admired her patience as I could never see myself as a nurse working in Labor & Delivery. I was so happy to see her working at the VA back in 1994. I have many pictures of Barb from when my son was born so I will always remember Barb at that happy moment in my life.

I never met Barb in person but we have had a phone relationship for the last 3 years in our jobs. She would call me to schedule patients and we would talk about our families and many other things. I always enjoyed speaking with her. She cared about her patients so much and did everything she could for them. God blees you all with his comfort.

We are all sorry for your loss, you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless ^i^

I met Barbara in 1983, when we both worked at Jordan valley Hospital. She was the supervisor in labor and delivery and I was The housekeeper for labor and delivery. We became great friends. She always treated me like I was a member of her staff. She taught me alot of things about labor and delivery, and I remember when I first started there I asked her about the insterments and I called them "Tools" and she laughed so hard and said Mert mert mert... They are not tools they are insterments!...

I enjoyed the conversations I had with Barb as I cared for her at the VA. She was a dedicated and caring nurse to the veteran patients. Steve, you had a great Mom who never missed a chance of telling everyone how wonderful you are and the shining star you were in her life. I felt her love for you as she spoke of you. Carry on her legacy. Memories always find a place in the heart.
