Darlene and I celebrated many birthdays together. Today on her birthday, I am grateful for her life, her profound influence on me (and so many) and that she is in my heart. Our world is brighter because she lived and loved well. Darlene, there aren't words to express how much you are missed!

We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Darlene for many years. She was an amazing person to work with and her love and passion for people shown through her work relationships. My husband and I will keep the family in our prayers.

Whew - hated to hear this news. She was my "bestie" friend during many young Irondale growing stages! She will be missed and loved and her light & life will shine forth in others that loved her!

My prayers are extended to the family for their loss. I grew up in Irondale and went to school with Darlene. She was a sweet person. God has gained an angel.
