Barbara SECTER

I have been seeing Dr. Secter for about 10 years and was so shocked and saddened to learn this week that she passed away just a couple weeks after my last appointment with her. I will always remember her as a kind and gentle sole who made the trepidition of going for the annual exam so much less traumatic. I can't say I knew her personally, but I truly am sorry for all of her family and friends as I'm sure that her "bedside" manners had to translate to her personal life as well. Cherish...

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Secter's death, she was such a compassionate and dedicated doctor. She made me feel at ease when I went for my breast exam with her, I will miss her. My condolences to her family and especially to Jackie, Dr. Secter's sister, who worked along side her.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

As per our custom my annual appointment was booked by Jackie last year for today, December 5, 2013. I found it strange when I did not get a confirmation call from her yesterday. This morning I called the office only to learn that Dr. Barbara passed away in February, two months after I last saw her. I have been a patient of hers for many years and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace until the day of the Lord's appearing.

I have been seeing Dr. Secter since 1989 since moving from Ontario to Alberta. Dr. Secter was very dedicated to her work and will be sadly missed.

Just learned yesterday that Dr Sector passed away. She will be greatly missed for her amazing care, practical and thoughtful advise and sense of humour. My condolences to her family.

I was very sad to learn of Dr. Secter's passing. Her loss will resonate with so many people for a very long time. Dr. Secter was a remarkable person with exceptional interpersonal and medical skills. Her warmth and humour could always be relied upon. Together with Jackie, the practice ran with efficient competence and compassion. My heartfelt condolences to Jackie and all of Dr. Secter's family and her many admirers.

I only learned today of Dr.Secter's passing. I feel a real personal loss even though our relationship was Dr./Client. She helped so many people. I for one will be forever grateful for her kindness & professionalism.

I learned of Dr. Secter's passing last week when I went to the Breast Centre for my annual appointment. I have been attending the Breast Centre for approximately 25 years through that time have had many interesting discussions with Dr. Secter. I feel a great sadness with the loss of this remarkable lady, and wish to express my deepest sympathies to her family and friends. My thoughts are with you.
