Not sure what to say?

I met Barbara at the Shenandoah Nursing Home when I was there for therapy. I spent many hours with her during lunch and dinner. She especially liked KFC and we would enjoy every mouth full that my grandson brought to us. When I left the nursing home I promised her that I would come back for a visit. I was able to go back to visit her with my grandson and KFC. It was to be the last time I saw Barbara. I am so glad that I was able to spend some time with her.

I thought so much of Barbara when she was at Augusta Nursing, then at Shenandoah. At Augusta she was across the hall from my mom, and at Shenandoah I would see her in the hallway or at the lunch table when I visited my cousin Bonnie before we moved. Always a caring, uplifting person. Sometimes I would play piano for the group and she always enjoyed the music. Condolences to the family.

FRIEND-Hey-Margaret had banana...

Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. Barbara Ann was a Special Cousin and we loved spending time with her. She was a precious gift from God. We loved her and she always made us smile

Barbara was such a good friend to my mother during her final years at Shenandoah Nursing Home. They shared a table in the dining room for a long time. Barbara's caring and sense of humor were a comfort to my entire family during an often difficult time. She was a great spirit and now I can imagine her at the table again with my mother.

I have so many memories of Barbara. She was my best friend (resident) at Shenandoah. We spent countless hours putting puzzles together, having long talks and sharing our food. I knew Barbara was ready to go home. The hills were getting steeper for her to climb. She helped anyone she could. She always looked after her Sister doing anything to see she was ok. I'm going to miss my friend but she's free. No more Nursing Home or wheelchair chair, pain, nor struggles just perfect peace...
