Barbara and my mother, Marianne Wichmann, were next-door neighbors for 25 years. When my mother was sick, Barbara would notice that she hadn´t been out of the house much. Barbara was my mother´s longtime neighbor and friend. It was such fun having an afternoon glass of wine or a scotch with them as they not only were extremely smart but so, so funny. I truly miss their company and now Barbara and De will have many more great stories when we are together again.

My condolences to both families and friends.
