I was pleased to receive the email today reminding me of Barbara's passing. She was an incredible person in so many ways. I send love to the family and close friends and I will keep Barbara in my thoughts and prayers today in remembrance of her life. I was lucky to have met her. May she be resting in peace.

Barbara was a positive and fun force in our neighborhood. She would dress up as a witch on Halloweens, a kind and generous witch of course, and pass out the Halloween candy. I remember a caldron on the front porch too!
I had the privilege of living kiddy corner from the McNeily's in Western Springs.
May Barbara be lovingly remembered for many many years.

Dear McNeily family,
I was never lucky enough to have met your Mom but what a tremendous lady she must have been. Just reading her obituary made me realize the many great things and accomplishments she had been a part of. She raised a wonderful family and she is now at peace. Sending hugs and love to the entire family.
