I have some very fond memories of Barb, she was like a second mother to me. Because of Barb I will forever love chicken, rice and ketchup for dinner. I will always remember the times in the pool, and the adult deck we were forbidden to play on. My mom, Debbie and Barb screaming at the top of their lungs when Barbra Streisand won the Oscar in 1977 for "Evergreen" and scaring me so bad I almost fell off the couch. Fond memories, summers in Florida, adult beverages on the back patio with Aunt Barb and my girls, asking for advice and receiving freely, havartti cheese with grapes and wine, speaking candidly into the night about her life and the people she treasured. Exchanging recipes and loving her Italian beef and french onion soup (which I cook to this day). Prayers are with the family at this time of loss.
