Not sure what to say?

To Buffy and Jane,

Your mother was more like a sister than a sister-in-law. Her laughter will ring beautifully in my ears for ever. I miss her smile, humor, phone calls and genuine caring about everyone. She was truly a classy lady.

Both your mom and dad were very special people to many. I am so grateful that Uncle John chose me to be a Slattery. And I thank God that Barbara, Joe, Buffy and Jane were born!

Always love,
Aunt Pat

I attended Barbara's funeral in spirit yesterday. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there in person to honor her. Bless you all in your time of sorrow.
Jeannie

Barbara and I grew up on Benezet St. and were best friends into adulthood. Boy, could we laugh! Barbara's ability to turn any situation into a comedy was truly remarkable. She was a woman of great warmth and many talents. I will love and honor her memory for the rest of my life.

To Barbara's dear family,

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara's death. I have been a friend of hers since first grade at Our Mother of Consolation School and I remember sharing sandwiches that our mothers had packed. She often had egg salad and my mother never made egg salad, so I'd give her half of my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and she'd give me half of her egg salad. Later we went to Cecilian Academy together. She had one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen. I will...

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family of Barbara. She was one of the best women I have ever known, and she will missed dearly!
Sincerely,
Vicki Ball
