Barbara Strand

I have been at Barbara and Sy's house 4 years ago and I stayed about 7 months with them to study at S.D.S.U. I come back 1 year later to see her for my honeymoon. She was a special person, always happy . I loved very much to talk with her and her family.

I worked with Barbara from 1981 to 1983 at Grossmont College. She had so much energy and vitality and it was a pleasure to be trained by her. It was so wonderful to hear the stories of all her travels and children and grandchildren who were her life. I had no idea that she was also a child actress. What a rich and rewarding life she has lead. May the Lord bless you with lots of memories and comfort.

Barbara was a longtime neighbor of ours until we moved away from Broadmoor 19 years ago. I always enjoyed chatting with her. Our sympathy goes to her family.

I am a good friend of Jayne Strand's, Barbara's daughter-in-law. Even though I never met Barbara, she seems like a wonderful lady who had a long and rich life. I wish to extend my deepest sympathies. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
