Read Morei remember barbara fondly; i bumped into her at an art fair in 1964 (i think). i was 16 and broke. she invited me to sit and she drew a wonderful portrate of me and i have treasured it and the memory of the "arty type" woman dressed in a long burlap dress, radiating joy and generosity.
