I saw this notice in the Post - I was a childhood friend of Kathy's. I am so sorry for your loss and so sorry that Kathy's life was cut short. I remember many sleepovers at Messina Court! I hope that the memories of both women bring your family comfort now and in the coming days and I hope Kathy and her mom are reunited in peace and joy.

Barbara was my favorite person in the WBL. As recently as last year, I reminded her how she introduced herself at Hunt Valley, when I was a newbie to the Unit. Gene and Adrienne Fisher will miss her smile and vivacious personality.
