Momma Symonds! Talk about leaving behind a legacy. Well over 30 years ago I took dance lessons at a small church in Xenia with Ms. Symonds. For years I spent every Saturday morning with her. She ran circles around us young kids and we left exhausted while she was eager for the next group of students to arrive. There will never be another lady quite like her. She lived such a joyous life. I was blessed to know her.

Mrs Symonds shared her love of life and taught others to do the same and reach for their goals. She is missed. Praying for the family, blessings!

She was "Mama Symonds" to me. She was my jazz dance teacher when I was a kid. She was an amazing, loud, spicy woman and I loved her. I've thought about her so many times throughout the years. She will truly be missed.
