Barbara Joan Thelen

Thelen, Barbara Joan age 75, of Mpls, passed away Feb. 12. She had been active in the church as a deaconess, Sunday School teacher, in choir and delivering Meals On Wheels. For many years she was employed by the Hennepin County Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter, Melody Thelen; sons, Melvin Thelen, Raymond, Roy and Nels Truelson; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Zola Smith, Anne Antletz and Marie Wondra; brother, Alf Robert Lee; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, stepfather and 3 brothers. Service Friday, Feb. 24, 1 PM at the Washburn- McReavy Davies Chapel, 2301 Dupont at Hennepin Ave S. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
