Aunt Barbara was always so kind and loving to me and to my children. We will miss our visits and our lively conversations very much. Our hearts are sad for our loss but rejoice for her as she joins the love of her life, Uncle Joe, in heaven. To Lou, Gary, Paul, and your families we send you love and our deepest condolences. Barbara was the matriarch of our family. I had no friends or family when I came to RI 30+ years ago. Barbara welcomed me, literally, with open arms and made sure I knew I had family here, too. She was kind, warmhearted, a little sassy, funny, supportive, beautiful and wise. I believe my own mother was happy to have someone of Barbara's caliber looking out for me. Barbara was a real class act and I consider her to have been one of the biggest blessings in my life.

That's such a pretty picture and just the way I remember her. She was a great neighbor, just like family and we'll miss her very much. We had so much fun there on Dover Street. My thoughts and prayers to Lou, Gary, Paul and their families.
